As a Systems Developer at OLE, you’ll play a vital role in developing Linux-based systems, managing Raspberry Pi environments, and contributing to our mission of community empowerment.
Job Description: As a Systems Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Linux-based systems crucial for our educational initiatives. Working with technologies like Raspberry Pi, Docker, Bash, and Git, you’ll ensure the stability and scalability of systems in areas with limited internet access and unstable power supply, making a direct impact on the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems, prioritizing efficiency and scalability.
- Manage Raspberry Pi devices in diverse environments, considering hardware limitations.
- Utilize Docker for containerization, ensuring consistent deployment and simplifying system management.
- Script Bash to automate routine tasks and bolster system reliability..
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to tackle technical challenges and contribute to system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with Raspberry Pi development and deployment.
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Experience in setting up GitHub actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Commitment to creating systems that uplift communities.
