Kofi Essien | OLE Ghana

Mr. Kofi Essien is a seasoned educationist having served in various capacities in the education sector including being a senior school administrator and a classroom practitioner for seventeen years. His teaching career has seen him teach in a couple of Danish schools. For two years he worked with the Global eSchools and Community Initiative (GeSCI), a UNICT Taskforce founded organization as its Country Program Analyst. Mr. Essien holds a BA degree from the University of Ghana, Legon, a post graduate diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast and a post graduate certificate in Project Management, Comparative Education and Education Research from University of Copenhagen in Denmark, and he holds a Masters in Information and Communication Technology in Education from the University of Cape Coast. Since the 1999 Kofi has provided in-service learning programs for teachers in 21st century teaching through the World Bank sponsored World Links for Development Program, the Fiankoma project, INTEL Teach and OLE-Ghana. Mr. Essien also had a short stint with TESSA where he provided administrative support to the TESSA Executive Chair, as well as supported TESSA consortium activities including working on the TESSA newsletter. He is the Executive Director of OLE Ghana.
